Summary of Disaster:

 

According to the emergency manager, “There was approximately $555,000 both public and private damage, that was reported to me. Some of the damage consisted of road washouts, culvert damage, and commercial damage.” According to the Bennington Banner, “2.78 inches of rain feel on this region in one day. Normally, that is the total rainfall for the entire month of December.”
